Overview

One Day Tour Komodo – is a full day trip over sea tour visiting six tourist destinations in the Komodo National Park area. This trip using a speed boat starts at 07.00 in the morning and will end at 17.00 in the afternoon. You will be picked up by car before the trip and will be drop back when the trip is over. It is recommended that you have breakfast first and then  get ready in the hotel lobby to wait for your pick-up. This package includes one lunch (lunch box) and snorkeling equipment. The tour guide will give the information about things you can and cannot do during the trip and interesting informations about the destination you will visit.

Itinerary

Day 1 :

- 07.00 – Visit Padar Island
Trekking to the top of the hill, enjoying natural views, taking photos

- 10.00 – Visit Pink Beach (Padar Panjang Beach)
Swimming, relaxing on the beach, taking photos

- 11.00 – Visit Komodo Island
Trekking to see Komodo animals, photos

- 12.30 – Lunch
Lunch Box

- 13.00 – Visit Taka Makassar
Swimming, relaxing on the beach, taking photos

- 14.00 – Visit Manta Point
Snorkeling to see Manta Ray

- 15.00 – Visit Kanawa Island
Snorkeling, relaxing on the beach, taking photos

- 17.00 – Return to Labuan Bajo
The journey takes approximately 30 minutes

- 17.30 – Check Out Speed Boat
Pick-up and drop-off of trip participants back to the hotel

- 18.00 – Trip Finished

What about internet access?

Yes. Internet can be accessed in most places. Sometimes, there might be some technical problems. Internet in Nepal is not as fast as you are used to and at times you can just lose connection.

What about battery charging and hot shower facilities?

Yes, you can charge batteries en route. Charger should be brought. There are hot shower facilities as well. You may have to pay certain amount for both ($1-$2). Negotiate. Also, hot water facility could be free at lower elevation.

Are there ATMs on the way to Annapurna Base Camp?

No. There are no ATMs on this trek route. You will have to draw enough cash in Pokhara or Kathmandu. There are a number of ATMs in these cities. Everything is paid in Nepali rupees. So money should be exchanged before the start of the trek.
